By using Silver by the Pound you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Price data is informational only
Prices on this site come from third-party sources: gold-api.com for the silver spot price, and COMEX silver futures via Yahoo Finance for charts and history. The site is rebuilt every 6 hours, headline figures may update in your browser while a page is open, and prices may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for information only. They are not an offer to buy or sell anything and must not be the sole basis for any transaction. Always confirm live pricing with the dealer or buyer before you trade.
Units
Unless stated otherwise, a "pound" on this site means the avoirdupois pound of 453.59237 grams, and an "ounce" of silver means the troy ounce of 31.1034768 grams. A pound therefore holds 14.583 troy ounces. Applying a figure from this site in a different unit will give a wrong result.
Stale data
If a data source is unavailable, the site keeps showing the last good data with its original timestamp rather than an empty page or an estimate. Please check the timestamp beside any figure.
Calculator results are estimates
Our calculators apply arithmetic to figures you supply and to the published spot price. We cannot see, weigh, test or authenticate your items. Results are melt values, not appraisals or offers, and what a buyer pays will differ. Many items are worth more than their melt value, and melting is irreversible.

Typical premium and payout ranges on this site are drawn from published industry sources and change with market conditions. They are not quotes from any dealer or buyer.
